At the Sky Mine above the Akkala region, you find a crystal to take back to a shrine.

Shrine Location

This shrine is located at 4506, 2164, 1155, in the sky islands above the Rist Peninsula. It can be reached by flying from Natak Shrine.

How to Solve the Shrine

To reach the crystal that the beam of light is shining from, you first need to examine the glowing item southwest of the shrine location. This activates the piston on the island. Stand on the piston to be launched up to the next island, then rotate the wheel if necessary to point to the next island, and stand on the piston to be launched up to it. This leads you to the Sky Mine, where you find some ore, and the crystal. You can use Ultrahand to drop the crystal onto the middle of the island that has the shrine on it. With luck, it won't fall off. (If it does, just teleport back to the shrine location to reset the crystal.)
