Mt. Kress Mountain Temple

After visiting the city of Euro where Neil's parents run the Rolek company, you go to Mt. Kress to find the temple.

Mt. Kress, area 1

The exit of this area is to the northwest. The monsters in this area are floating skulls called Skulkers, as well as Acid Spiders. When you are ready, go to the northwest to exit the area.

Mt. Kress, area 2

The Quick Way

The quick way out of this area is to go north from the entrance, use your Spin Dash ability to jump over the green leaf, then go west all the way, and then go south and Spin Dash over the leaf. You'll reach a Dark Space. Go west from the Dark Space, then when you reach a fork in the path, you can take the left fork if you want a Red Jewel, or take the right fork to skip it.

The Long Way

Go south from the entrance of this area and follow the path to a green leaf. Use Spin Dash on the leaf and killing the Fire Sprite before going east. Then at the fork in the path, go south if there are any other enemies down there, but otherwise go west, then Spin Dash over the leaf at the end to reach the Dark Space. Go west from the Dark Space, then when you reach a fork in the path, you can take the left fork if you want a Red Jewel, or take the right fork to skip it.

When you kill all of the enemies in this area, your DEF increases.

Mt. Kress, area 3

In this area, you can go east if you want a Red Jewel, or go west to get a key item that is required to complete this dungeon.

Mt. Kress, area 4

If you went east from the previous area, keep going east until you reach a Dark Space. Then go south from the Dark Space and follow the path to the west to get Red Jewel #35. Then go east to reach the Dark Space again, then use the shortcut leaf that is to the left of the Dark Space, and go west from there to return to area 3. From there, go west to get a key item that is required to complete this dungeon.

Mt. Kress, area 5

This is the area that you reach if you go west from area 3. First, go south and follow the maze around, killing Skulkers, Yoricks, and Acid Spiders. Ignore the northwest path, because it's a dead end. Keep following the path and you will reach a chest that contains Mushroom Drops. If you kill all of the enemies here, your HP will increase. Go east from the chest, then follow the path around until you can go east again. This will return you to area 3.

Mt. Kress, area 3, part 2

Go east, then north, then east, then south, then east, then north. You have to use the mushroom drops on the broken beanstalk to make it grow. If you kill all of the monsters in this area, your HP will increase. Keep going north to reach the exit of this area.

Mt. Kress, area 6

In this area, go east until you reach a new area. Notice that there is a broken beanstalk along the way.

Mt. Kress, area 7

Go east if you want to kill all of the monsters in this area. Then go north. At the top of this area, you find more Mushroom Drops. If you kill all of the monsters in this area, you increase your HP. Get the mushroom drops, then leave this area the way that you came in.

Mt. Kress, area 6, part 2

Go back to the broken beanstalk and use the Mushroom Drops on it. Then go north to the next area.

Mt. Kress, area 8

First, go east until you reach a Dark Space. You'll receive Freedan's Aura Barrier ability. Activate this power the same way you activate Spin Dash. After the barriers appear, you can walk around. The barriers disappear after a few moments. Save your game and exit the Dark Space when you're ready.

Go west and then go north when you can. After that, go east when you can. After you have gone as far east as you can go, go south until you reach a leaf ramp. Use the leaf ramp to reach a small area, then go north and use the leaf ramp there to find more mushroom drops. Go west and use the leaf ramp there, then go north as far as you can go. Use the leaf ramp to the east. From there, go southwest to exit the area. When you kill all of the monsters here, your DEF increases.

Mt. Kress, area 6, part 3

Go south, past the first western path, then go west and use the mushroom drops on the broken beanstalk. Go west to reach the next area. When you kill all of the monsters in this area, your DEF increases.

Mt. Kress, areas 9 and 10

From now on, the path is relatively straightforward. Go through and kill the monsters to increase your STR, and use the northwest exit. Then go north to find the Teapot.

Now you have to go the long way back to the entrance. From the area where you got the Teapot, go south, and from there, go east along the red mushrooms and keep going east to get to the next area. Go east to find a leaf ramp to the south. Use it, then go west and south to the next area. Then go south, east, south, west, and south to reach the next area. Go south to reach the Dark Space and transform back into Will. Then leave the Dark Space and go north and go up the eastern fork and use Spin Dash to go across the leaf ramp. Then go as far east as you can, then south, then go east when you can to reach the next area. Then go southeast to exit the mountain.

Return to Euro. Go into the mansion and go into the middle door on the first floor. Equip the Teapot and use it on Neil's mother. Then talk to Neil. When you are ready to continue, talk to Kara. You'll automatically go to the Native's Village.

Native's Village

There is a Dark Space in the northeast corner of the village where you can save your game.

Go into the house on the right side and check on the pot in the southwest corner to get Red Jewel #36.

Go outside and talk to Kara, then go into the house and talk to Kara again. After the cut scene, talk to the upper boy to the right of the fire and he will mark your map with Ankor Wat. When you are ready, leave town and choose to go to Ankor Wat.
