Find Mii II (StreetPass Quest II)

Find Mii II (known as StreetPass Quest II in PAL region systems) was released on December 6, 2011 with the system update. To play Find Mii II, you must first collect all of the hats in the original Find Mii.

Overview

When you first start the game, you will see a brief introductory sequence in which your StreetPass Mii and the royal children, a Prince and Princess who look almost exactly like your StreetPass Mii, are kidnapped. You must rescue all three in a similar manner as in the original Find Mii: encounter new heroes with StreetPass, then choose Venture Forth in the Find Mii II menu to travel through different screens featuring monsters that block your path.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get through the poison room?

You need to send in two yellow-shirted heroes. They will automatically team up and use boosted sandstorm magic to sweep the poison away. For more details about that room, see Forest of Sorrow - Exit

How do I get through the fiery room?

You need to send in two heroes who are wearing dark blue shirts. They will automatically team up and use boosted water magic to put out the flames. For more details about that room, see Castle of Darkness - Throne Room

How do I defeat the green slime?

The green slime only has three hit points, but attacks against it will almost always miss. There might be some trick to defeating the green slime more easily, but I haven't discovered it. You can try using a light green hero to put it to sleep, or a light blue hero to freeze it. Also, I had a pink hero who hit it twice in a row. It might have been a coincidence, but maybe pink heroes are better at hitting green slimes.

New Features

Find Mii II has many of the same features as the original game, but there are some helpful new additions:

Potions

You can use a hero's turn to order a potion from the potion service. A rabbit will drop down, deliver the potion, and disappear. Keep in mind, however, that ordering a potion will use up that hero's turn, and he or she will head home after. The following potions are available:

  • Vial of Valor (8 Coins) - Calls back a hero who has left
  • Power Potion (20 Coins) - Boosts your heroes' levels
  • Dispelling Draft (2 Coins) - Blows away gas spewed by enemies
  • Bottled Barrier (2 Coins) - Nullifies enemy magic

Hiring Old Allies

Each time you play, you can use Play Coins to hire up to three old allies from your StreetPass Plaza. The cost is the level of the hero plus two, so for example, to hire a level 1 hero, you spend 3 play coins, to hire a level 2 hero, you spend 4 play coins, to hire a level 3 hero, you spend 5 play coins, and so on. You can only hire three heroes per Venture Forth session, but there is no limit to how many times a day you hire old allies. It's only limited by the number of play coins you have.

Teaming Up

Depending on the color (and possibly level) of the next hero in line, you might have the option to use your current hero's turn to team up with the next hero in line. Doing so will effectively create a new hero whose level is different depending on the combination of colors that the two heroes are wearing.

  • If two heroes of the same color team up, their levels will be added together plus one. So two level 7 heroes of the same color in a team will be level 15.
  • Two heroes of the same color will have a magic spell that is just a stronger version of the original spell. For example, two yellow heroes have a strong sandstorm attack, two dark blue heroes have a strong water attack, etc. (see the list of shirt colors and magic)
  • Heroes with similar shirt colors can team up, but might not have a magic spell available to them. However, they will have a higher level.

Similar Colors

The following heroes of similar colors can team up, but they don't get any special spells:

  • Light green + Dark green
  • Light blue + Dark blue
  • Red + Pink
  • Orange + Yellow
  • Purple + Blue

Special Teams

Certain teams of two different colors have special magic attacks.

  • Black + White - Break Shadowlight Shields
