What is EVE Online?
EVE Online is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, or MMORPG, that takes place in a region of space known as EVE. Humans from Earth were stranded in EVE when the wormhole they came through unexpectedly collapsed. With no way to return to Earth for supplies, the civilization of EVE collapsed, too, only to be rebuilt over thousands of years into what it is in the game world today. Your character in EVE Online is a recent graduate of one of EVE's many institutes of higher education, and is ready to seek fame, fortune, and adventure in the world of EVE.

Train skills to get the most out of Eve Online
Don't forget to always train skills as you play. If you want to improve beyond the beginner level, training your skills is essential. Start by training the Learning skills, and saving up money to buy the advanced Learning skills. They are expensive, but the effort you spend on getting those skills will save time for you in the future because it will take less time to train other types of skills later on.
